Roy is a business strategy and operations professional with over 19 years of experience and education in business with an expertise in the growth and operations of strategic initiatives and emerging businesses. He is currently the chief strategy and operations executive for CNN’s commerce business. He previously served in the executive committee for Accenture’s south market region as chief of staff after years of leading digital work for their nonprofit and human services clients. He has been recognized as a rising star in Consulting Magazine, on the 40 Under 40 List from the Leadership Center of Excellence, and was honored as a rising star for leaders involved in philanthropy by Living Classrooms presented by Politico.

He completed his studies at California State University San Marcos in Business Administration where he was selected to attend the Leon and Sylvia Panetta Institute for Public Policy. He holds a certificate in Business Strategy from INSEAD.

Roy is passionate about growing organizations through innovation and discipline, creating value through strategy and leadership, and developing people through mentorship and trust. He is an advocate for inclusion and diversity and believes it adds more value to communities and businesses.
