Kevin Hernandez
Director of Policy, The LIBRE Initiative
Kevin Hernandez is the Director of Policy at the LIBRE Initiative – a non-partisan, non-profit grassroots organization that advances the principles and values of economic freedom to empower the U.S. Hispanic community so it can thrive and contribute to a more prosperous America.
Prior to joining the LIBRE Initiative, Kevin worked at the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce where he served as the Vice President of Policy & Public Affairs. Kevin was responsible for shaping the USHCC’s policy agenda to best reflect and elevate the voices of Hispanic entrepreneurs in the nation's capital and throughout the country.
A proud Floridian and son of Colombian immigrants, Kevin received his B.A. from Florida International University and is currently pursuing a Master’s from George Mason University. Kevin recently served as a Leader’s Fellow with the James Madison Institute – Florida’s premier free-market think tank, and he was most recently named to Maverick PAC’s 2017 “Future 40” – 40 under 40 list. He has written opinion pieces for the The Hill, Morning Consult, and Florida Politics.
